Dr. Seldon is a forensic economist with wide experience in legal matters concerning businesses and individuals, including cases involving breach of contract, patent infringement, intellectual property, monopolization, predatory pricing, unfair competition, personal injury and wrongful termination. He has published more than 40 scholarly articles and written a book. These publications focus on the field of industrial economics. His research includes a variety of economic topics from antitrust to the economics of advertising.
Dr. Seldon earned his Ph.D. in economics from Duke University in 1985. Since 1984 he has been on the faculties of, and received tenure from, two nationally recognized universities. He is currently Professor of Economics and Political Economy and former Director of Economics Programs (B.A., B.S., M.S., and Ph.D.) at The University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a Senior Fellow of the National Center for Policy Analysis.
He is a member of many economic associations, including the American Economic Association, the Industrial Organization Society and the National Association of Forensic Economics. In addition, he is an associate member of the American Bar Association.
